Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 8 oz (225g) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 tbsp (15ml) whole milk
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Using a mixer on medium-high speed, beat the mixture for 2-3 minutes until velvety and pale with no visible lumps.
- Reduce the mixer to the lowest setting for 10 seconds to combine, then switch to a rubber spatula. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a 'cut and lift' motion until no white streaks remain.
- Taste the dip for sweetness. If the consistency is too thick, fold in the milk one tablespoon at a time until it reaches a smooth, dippable viscosity.
