Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240ml) Cool Whip (thawed) OR marshmallow fluff
Instructions:
- Place the softened cream cheese in your bowl.
- Beat on medium speed for 60 seconds until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Note: This removes any remaining lumps from the block.
- Sift the powdered sugar into the bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract.
- Increase speed to high and whip for 2-3 minutes.
- Continue whipping until the color pales and it looks light and fluffy.
- Turn the mixer to the lowest setting.
- Gently fold in the Cool Whip or marshmallow fluff using a spatula.
- Stir until no white streaks remain.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish.
