Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (245g) Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup (60g) chunky salsa
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cumin
  • 1 tsp (2g) chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp (1.5g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp (1.5g) onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp (0.5g) smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp (5g) fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp (7g) honey

Instructions:

  1. In a medium glass mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, salsa, and honey. Stir until the mixture looks glossy and smooth.
  2. Pour in the fresh lime juice. Stir until the mixture looks glossy and smooth.
  3. Add the ground cumin and chili powder.
  4. Incorporate the garlic powder and onion powder. Whisk until no white streaks of yogurt remain.
  5. Sprinkle in the fine sea salt and smoked paprika.
  6. Drizzle in the honey. Stir vigorously to emulsify the sweetener.
  7. Fold in the finely chopped fresh cilantro.
  8. Taste a small amount on a piece of lettuce. Check for a balanced zing and saltiness.
  9. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes. This allows the dry spices to fully hydrate.
