Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups (135g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 0.5 cup (60g) High-Quality Whey or Plant-Based Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 tbsp (10g) Chia Seeds or Ground Flaxseeds
  • 0.5 cup (125g) Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 0.33 cup (113g) Raw Honey or Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 0.125 tsp (1g) Flaky Sea Salt
  • 0.33 cup (55g) Mini Dark Chocolate Chips (70% Cacao)
  • 1.5 tbsp (22ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk

Instructions:

  1. In a large glass mixing bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and sea salt. Ensure all protein powder clumps are broken up to avoid dry pockets.
  2. Create a well in the center of the dry mixture and add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Use a sturdy silicone spatula to fold the ingredients together until a thick, heavy dough forms.
  3. If the dough appears crumbly or 'shattering,' incorporate the almond milk one teaspoon at a time until the mixture holds its shape when squeezed.
  4. Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips. Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop for uniformity, portion and roll the dough into 12 individual spheres.
