- 1.5 cups (135g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 0.5 cup (60g) High-Quality Whey or Plant-Based Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp (10g) Chia Seeds or Ground Flaxseeds
- 0.5 cup (125g) Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
- 0.33 cup (113g) Raw Honey or Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp (5ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
- 0.125 tsp (1g) Flaky Sea Salt
- 0.33 cup (55g) Mini Dark Chocolate Chips (70% Cacao)
- 1.5 tbsp (22ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
Instructions:
- In a large glass mixing bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and sea salt. Ensure all protein powder clumps are broken up to avoid dry pockets.
- Create a well in the center of the dry mixture and add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Use a sturdy silicone spatula to fold the ingredients together until a thick, heavy dough forms.
- If the dough appears crumbly or 'shattering,' incorporate the almond milk one teaspoon at a time until the mixture holds its shape when squeezed.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips. Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop for uniformity, portion and roll the dough into 12 individual spheres.
