Ingredients:
- 1 lb jalapeños, sliced into rounds
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Wash the jalapeños thoroughly and slice them into consistent rounds approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Combine the apple cider vinegar, honey, brown sugar, salt, and garlic powder in a medium stainless steel saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved and the mixture reaches a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the sliced jalapeños, lower the heat to medium-low, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until the syrup thickens into a glossy glaze and peppers become translucent olive-green.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to sterilized glass jars.
