- 2 (6-oz) salmon fillets, center-cut
- 1 tsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp lemon pepper
- 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1/2 tsp monk fruit sweetener
- 1 fresh lemon, sliced into wedges
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy exterior.
- Rub the fillets lightly with avocado oil on all sides.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, sea salt, and monk fruit sweetener.
- Press the seasoning mixture firmly into the flesh side of the salmon fillets.
- Place the fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, to protect the delicate meat from the bottom heat.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and finely chopped parsley before serving.
