Ingredients:

  • 2 (6-oz) salmon fillets, center-cut
  • 1 tsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 fresh lemon, sliced into wedges
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy exterior.
  2. Rub the fillets lightly with avocado oil on all sides.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, sea salt, and monk fruit sweetener.
  4. Press the seasoning mixture firmly into the flesh side of the salmon fillets.
  5. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, to protect the delicate meat from the bottom heat.
  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and finely chopped parsley before serving.
